Ellen, Kyle, JW, and I decided to go on a super chill day trip on Sunday right before the first day of school. We didn't leave Maastricht until around 2pm (YAY FOR SLEEPING IN!) and then we headed to Brussels to wander around and basically just spend the day eating!
When we got there we immediately went on a Belgium Waffle hunt, and they were delicious!!!
Then we went to an fantastic seafood place...
We got to see the Grand Place at night, the gorgeous square in Brussels. We were all so in awe.
We ended our trip with one last stop for Belgium waffles drenched in Belgium chocolate at a different waffle place before heading back to the train station.
For the train ride back at night, we jammed to country music and laughed the whole way home: proof that good company is one of the most important parts of having a good trip.
Perfect day!
